It could happen!

Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian revealed that she would love to take her new fiancee, Kris Humphries, on a dream vacation to South Africa. The Dash sister has been there twice with her family, but sadly, she’s never gotten to go on safari. She explains:

“I love South Africa. I went there twice and both times it rained, so we couldn’t go on a safari but someone brought baby cubs to us. So Khloe and I had dinner with two little baby lions. It was so cool.”

Yeah, you know how it is. We often have dinner flanked on either side by two very cuddling, very large feline lion cubs. We like to listen to them smack their lips together as we nibble on our tuna tartare. And, we’re titillated by the sound of their claws scratching on the marble floors as we slow grill strip steak 50 yards from where they are standing. Just a typical Tuesday really…

ANYWAY, when asked, Kim revealed she loved South Africa so much that she insisted she would “definitely want to go back” with Kris. So that got us thinking…a lavish wedding deserves an equally lavish honeymoon!

Do it to it! If Kris can afford a 20.5 carat diamond engagement ring, he can totes afford a two-week long getaway on safari! It’ll be magical, the two of you, out in the wilderness, enjoying mother nature just like millionaires should!

No wonder they still play his music at weddings and clubs…and karaoke bars and regular bars and bar-mitzvahs, and basically everywhere that plays music!

There’s no question that Michael Jackson’s legacy very much lives on, because his track Hollywood Tonight from his last album Michael has risen to the #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart! Wowsa!

Pret-ty impressive for a guy who passed away nearly two years ago!

Hollywood Tonight marks MJ’s eighth #1 on the Billboard chart, which has Michael tied with Enrique Iglesisas for most #1′s for a male artist in the chart’s history!

Such an impressive accomplishment, and so nice to know that Michael’s memory lives on very strongly through his music!

1.11 million copies!!!!!

Aaaaah-mazing!!! A triumph!!! Such an achievement!!!

WE’RE SO HAPPY!!!

The preliminary numbers are in for the sales of Lady GaGa’s new album Born This Way and according to Hits Daily Double, GaGaloo’s disc sold 1,110,420 copies!

That’s definitely the biggest album debut in quite a while! The last album we can think of in recent memory to even come close was Taylor Swift’s Speak Now which sold 1,047,000 copies in its first week last October…and we’d venture to say it’s the BIGGEST release from an artist since NSYNC put out No Strings Attached! (Would’ve been nice if BTW had reached their first week number though! 2.42 million! Phew!)

We’ll have more concrete numbers soon, but for now, let’s just sit back and feel powerful, Little Monsters. We did this for our beloved GaGa. We’ve put her on top. And there is where she will stay!

As we mentioned earlier, Jersey Shore star Snooki has gained a new stylish accessory after getting in a fender bender with a police car in Italy, but lost a more important one — her license to drive!

However, it has been reported that she may ALSO face a lawsuit!

Although she’s not facing any criminal charges, two officers walked away with minor injuries that have prevented them from returning to work for a week, so they have 90 days to decide whether or not they will file a civil action suit.

Let’s hope they will be cool about it though because the injuries do not sound to severe, as a Florence police spokesman has said:

“It was nothing serious and they have been released, but they will not be back at work for a week.”

In the meantime, she’s got a cute neck brace to remind her to drive safely when she gets back into the states.

Whatever – Kate Middleton is a princess and will one day rule England with Prince William. Big deal. Old news. No one cares. Why? Oh, haven’t you heard?

Everyone’s all about Pippa Middleton! They want a piece of Pippa and they are campaigning HARD to get to her first!

The top contenders? Who else: Oprah and Barbara Walters! Seems the royal ladies of their respective journalistic empires are eager to work with the most talked about little sister in recent years and both could use Pippa to up their viewership.

Barbara may have an slight edge as once upon a time, she was in talks to have Duchess Catherine on The View when she first started dating Prince William. So, there’s some history there. However, Oprah’s offer is much more impressive, for both sides. The Big O wants to give Pippa her own reality show, allowing viewers to get an inside peek at the true goings-on of a British socialite. It would certainly help fuel the blaze of Pippa’s already fast rising fame, but would also be a big win for the OWN Network.

But which will she choose? Hell, why should she choose! No reason why she couldn’t do both! Talk show host by day, socialite reality star by night! The world is her’s for the taking!

Weather prediction: Cloudy with a chance of APPLE!

Last week, we were pretty psyched to learn that Apple was close to securing deals with all four major recording companies regarding a new music service that will reportedly allow users to stream music from their computers on portable devices.

Now, we’ve got some more deets on Apple’s upcoming storage service network, which the company is officially referring to as iCloud!

For those who haven’t heard the term before, technically speaking a “Cloud” is “‘anywhere’ access to users’ own media, documents and apps, with increasing emphasis on mobile devices.”

While Google and Amazon have already launched Cloud services, Apple has been taking their time, and has been working on this service since late 2009.

There’s some speculation and concern that Apple’s Cloud service may have more restrictions and/or fees associated with it than the other services because of the company’s determination to make explicit deals with major music labels, but they’ve got lots of competition, so hopefully Apple will figure all of that out before the launch!

We’re def looking forward to checking out Apple’s service, and one way or another, it will be interesting to see which company dominates the Cloud race!

Wow! They must feel pretty confident in this show to make this kind of decision so early!

NBC has just appointed its reality competition, The Voice, as next year’s post-Super Bowl show next February!

According to the official press release:

NBC will broadcast a special hour-long episode of “The Voice” following the network’s exclusive coverage of Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, February 5 (10-11 p.m. ET; time approximate). The announcements were made today by Bob Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment. “There is no better showcase on television than to follow the Super Bowl, and we believe ‘The Voice’ is deserving of such high-profile exposure,” said Greenblatt. “The attention grabbing blind audition phase of ‘The Voice’ has mass appeal and will fittingly team up with the biggest sporting event of the year.” “The Voice,” featuring musician coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton is the 2010-11 season’s #1 new series in adults 18-49 and ranks behind only “American Idol” among all entertainment series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW. To date, “The Voice” is averaging a 5.4 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49 and 12.0 million viewers overall. “The Voice” is a vocal competition series modeled after Holland’s top-rated vocal talent discovery show, “The Voice of Holland.” The series is hosted by Carson Daly and features the musician coaches working through the various phases of the competition with only the most talented vocalists. Wowza! With numbers like that, we can’t say we blame them!

And unscripted shows tend to do very well in that position, so we think by the time its second season is beginning to roll around by that time, people will be ITCHING to watch it!
