Anderson Cooper is reportedly frustrated with CNN especially his low ratings and he is said to be considering other tempting offers from other news outlets.
He is also rumored to be at odds all the time with executive producer David Doss.
But it appears others at CNN are just as frustrated with Cooper since they believe the network shows him favoritism and that he uses too many of CNN’s resources.
Cooper’s contract expires next year so maybe we’ll see him elsewhere?
Just as long as we still get to see the Silver Fox on TV we’ll be happy!

Can someone Windex Martin Scorsese’s glasses or let us borrow them because we are just not seeing what he is seeing!
The legendary director has told sources that he is ready to mold Harry Potter sidekick Rupert Grint into the next big thing, specifically, the next Leonardo DiCaprio.
He’s starting by considering casting Rupert as a meany gangster in one of his next movies, seeing the potential in the ginge to expand past his Potter roots. He explains:
“I thought he (Grint) was a great actor in the Harry Potter movies. In a lot of scenes, the boy stole the show. He will always have respect for the movies that gave him such a huge break, but at his age it’s important he doesn’t become typecast. He has to do something really out of his comfort zone in the next few years – play a gangster, play a dirty cop, play a kid with learning difficulties. I would be interested in working with him. I would have no issues in casting him as a gangster, he is a very talented young man … When Leo was in ‘Titanic’ and ‘Romeo and Juliet’, nobody saw him becoming a bad ass in movies like ‘The Departed’. But he has become one of the greatest actors of all time. The very same could be true of Rupert.”
Okay, maybe we didn’t see Leo as a “bad ass”, but we sure as hell wanted to tap his ass! Rupert is cute, but we don’t really see a seksi factor there.
Still, he is a very good actor. We’d love to see what you would do with him, Marty. Just don’t get your hopes up.

Lucky break, Lil’ Wayne!
The rapper, who is already serving jail time in New York for possession of a weapon, will not have to go behind bars for a second round in the state of Arizona for his 2008 drug bust!
The judge must have taken pity on the douchebag in court today, and sentenced him with three years probation.
Hopefully now he’ll keep his hands off of illegal weapons and substances!

Try not to geek out because it remains unconfirmed, but there is talk of a Doctor Who movie being made…
And Johnny Depp playing the lead!
One website has quoted the former showrunner of the successful BBC series saying that Johnny is secured for the role and that the Doctor Who film will be released in 2012. (The article was later removed from the site, probably because the guy wasn’t supposed to say anything.)
Part of us hopes it’s true for all you fans, but then we have to wonder how he is going to fit this in with production of the next Pirates all but around the corner.
We’re thinking this is false, but hey, there is always hope!

Katy Perry is apparently so impressed with Marina & The Diamonds‘ tune-age that she wants to get together with her and do a collaboration!
The California Gurl has been a fan of the up and comer for a while and when she was in England guest-judging on The X Factor caught Marina covering her track with 3OH!3, Starstruckk!
She says:
“I watched the stream of the performance online. I would love to collaborate with Marina. I’m such a fan of new artists after going through that crazy hurricane of being one myself and, thankfully, surviving. New artists that will make it out of the eye of the storm I love and Marina is definitely one of them – she’s very talented, very smart and hot.”

The 18th annual Life Ball will mark the opening of a major AIDS conference that takes place in Vienna on July 18-23. The event is set to be a traditional Viennese ball, opening with 100 debutantes and classical music by Wagner and Beethoven.
The traditional opening fashion show will use a catwalk shaped like an AIDS red-ribbon in Vienna’s City Hall.
About 40,000 people attend the ball and last year they raised around 1.84 million dollars!
